Aetna® Personal Health Solutions offers programs to achieve different health goals. Not all programs are available to all members. Log in to Aetna Personal Health Solutions to see which programs are available with your health plan.

General
We include these programs in your Aetna Health Plan benefits at no extra cost.
In very rare situations, a provider may refer you for additional tests or providers, which could include copays or deductibles. Please contact Aetna at the phone number on your ID card if you have specific questions.
Anyone with Aetna coverage and their dependents over 18 are eligible. To qualify, you'll need to take a quick health quiz. If you qualify, we'll match you to a program based on your health risks, symptoms, needs and preferences.
If you don’t qualify, that could be a good thing. It means you don’t have the health risks that the program addresses.
Other times, we may recommend a higher level of care than what is provided by Aetna Personal Health Solutions programs.
Yes. We encourage you to select more than one health goal. You may not enroll in more than one program per health goal.
Yes. Spanish is available with most programs. When you take the health quiz, we will show you which programs are offered in other languages.

Yes. Most programs are also accessible on a computer or laptop.
Weight Management
The weight management program helps qualified participants make healthy changes in diet and activity to promote weight loss. To qualify, you'll need to take a quick health quiz. If you qualify, we'll match you to a program based on your needs and preferences. If you don’t qualify, we'll provide you with suggestions for other tools to support a healthy lifestyle.
We offer different versions of lifestyle change programs designed to offer members a choice to fit their preferences, the programs generally offer the following components:
• Health coaching and guidance from experts
• Personalized action plans to keep you motivated
• Meal plans, with certain programs
• The ability to earn a Fitbit after participating in the program
• A digital scale, with online programs only
Only members that qualify for the program are able to earn a Fitbit as part of the program.
After you have been actively participating in the program, you will receive an email from Aetna Personal Health Solutions with a unique code to redeem a Fitbit. Ask your health coach if you have questions about what it means to actively participate. You can earn the Fitbit within the first two to nine weeks in the program.
You can only earn one Fitbit from Aetna Personal Health Solutions. If you sign up for another year or enroll in other programs that also include a Fitbit, we'll only send you one redemption code.

You will receive a scale only if you qualify for a weight loss program and select a digital option. The scale will be shipped once enrollment is complete with your program, typically within five to seven business days.
If you have questions about how to connect your digital scale to your weight management program/app, please contact your program for assistance.
Mental Well-being
The stress and sleep management program helps qualified participants support their mental well-being with apps for mindfulness, meditation or coaching. To qualify, you'll need to take a quick health quiz. We'll match you to a program based on your needs and preferences.
Each program will be different, but all will include one year access to a top-rated app. We'll match you to a program like:
• Headspace: Reduce stress and improve sleep with meditation and mindfulness tools.
• Headspace Care: Manage life’s changes with behavioral health coaching, therapy and self-care resources. Meet with coaches via chat messaging.
• eM Life: Decrease stress and burnout with live and on-demand mindfulness programs.
Digestive Health
The digestive health program helps qualified participants get to the root cause of digestive issues, identify triggers and gain symptom control. To qualify, you'll need to take a quick health quiz.
There are different programs based on your symptoms and severity. The health quiz will help us match you to the right program. Programs vary, but include:
• Access to experts in digestive care. This will vary by program but may include nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered dietitians, health coaches and gastroenterologists. Access will either be virtual visits online or via chat in the apps.
• Premium apps to track and learn more about symptoms. You will also access your care team through the apps.
• Diagnostic tests as needed. Some may be samples mailed from home or require lab visits.
Not all programs include a Gut Microbiome test. If your program includes a Gut Microbiome test, your kits should arrive within two to five business days. After you submit your samples and send them back to the lab in the prepaid envelope provided, it will take four to six weeks to receive your report.
Physical Therapy
The fitness and physical therapy program helps qualified participants stay active, increase strength and improve flexibility so that they can avoid or have less muscle or joint pain.
Programs will vary depending on the severity and type of pain you are experiencing. There are two types of programs:
• Online fitness: Fitness app with 1000’s of workouts customized to your goals and certified personal trainers available for questions.
• Online physical therapy: Meet virtually with a physical therapist to get a customized exercise plan. Complete exercises at your convenience. You’ll wear a movement sensor or use your phone to track your movements. Then you get real-time feedback and changes to your plan based on how you progress.
If you qualify for a program that includes motion sensors, your kit will arrive within five to seven business days after you enroll with the program.
High Blood Pressure
The blood pressure management program helps qualified participants measure and track blood pressure while making healthy changes in diet and activity.
Programs vary, but all include an easy-to-use app. The app includes tools to track your pressure, share with other members of your care team and get advice on healthy lifestyle changes.
All programs include a blood pressure monitor that connects with the app.
You can also earn a Fitbit to help maintain an active lifestyle.
Your program will ship you a blood pressure monitor once you're enrolled, typically within five to seven business days.

Smoking/Tobacco Use
The tobacco cessation program helps qualified participants quit tobacco for good. Whether it's cigarettes, vaping or chewing tobacco, these programs can help you plan and succeed at quitting.
We'll match you to a program to fit your needs and preferences. Programs include:
• A personalized quit plan based on how and when you want to quit
• Scientifically backed strategies for dealing with cravings
• On-demand support and community interaction
• Quit medication, including nicotine patches, gum and lozenges, delivered to your home
During sign up with your program, you’ll learn about the quit medication available to you. Sometimes you will need to discuss with your coach to ensure the right type, dosage and usage. They will also coordinate around your quit date.
Women's Health
Aetna Personal Health Solutions offers programs across a range of health concerns specific to women. The programs are designed to address the following concerns:
• Heavy periods: heavy bleeding associated with your menstrual cycle.
• Cramps & pelvic pain: pain from periods, sex, endometriosis or other causes.
• Bladder control: loss of bladder control including leaks and overactive bladder.
• Prolapse: symptoms of heaviness or bulging in the pelvic area.
• Fertility: information and support when thinking of having a family.
• Breastfeeding: support from lactation consultants and pediatric experts.
• Perimenopause and menopause: support for hot flashes, mood swings and other symptoms common in perimenopause or menopause.
Each program will be unique, but most include:
• Personal coaching from a health expert.
• An app for online and on-demand access.
• Education about your health concern.
• Other tools to help manage your concern.
No. The fertility program can help you decide if fertility treatments are right for you and help you navigate the process, but fertility treatments are not part of the program.
